Our Festival Team classes are specifically designed for those dancers that want to compete in competitions and festivals. In this class the troupe team work across multiple genres of dance from Contemporary and Ballet to Acro and Commercial.

Dance competitions are events where dancers showcase their skills and talents in front of judges and an audience. Our dancers have a wonderful time and feel very much part of a team, it's a great experience for them to dance on different stages, with different audiences and really helps to build confidence and character.

In this class the goal is to not only to work on dancers' technical abilities but also their artistry, creativity and stage presence. The troupe team is split by age group to run in line with the age categories at the events we attend.

Taking this class involves a commitment to the team, you will be required to be free on the competition dates set, and full attendance to all rehearsal classes in the run up to a competition is essential. Student's that wish to take this class are required to take at least three other genre classes with Starlight.
