Our goal at Starlight Dance & Musical Theatre School is to offer the highest quality training, giving our students as many opportunites as possible to grow, develop and achieve their goals. We provide a fun, safe place for students of all ages and abilities whilst embracing traditional values of disclipline and commitment. Whether you wish to pursue a career in dance, work through an examination syllabus framework, perform in professionally crafted production shows, build an impressive performance portfolio or simply dance for fun or to learn new skills, we have classes to suit.

Starlight Dance & Musical Theatre school was established in February 2009, founded by professional Dancer / Choreographer Jacc Batch BA (Hons) and is now one of the UK's largest independent dance and musical theatre schools. Starlight prides itself on offering an outstanding level of dance and theatre training through a wide range of classes including: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Commercial, Lyrical, Street, Hip-Hop, Musical Theatre, Acrobatic Arts, Modern Theatre Dance, Drama and Theatre Skills.

Students here at the school are given many opportunities to perform within our international award winning show teams. Our show teams perform two large scale, professional standard production shows annually, compete in regional, national and international competitions, perform in many local, national and charity events. Our students are also given special opportunities to perform in some of Europe's most prestigious venues and to date, have performed at The Royal Albert Hall, Sadler's Wells, His Majasty's Theatre, Thorpe Park, Disneyland Paris & supported Tinie Tempah at the FA Cup Finals at Wembley Stadium.

Here at the school we pride ourselves on the quality of training received by our students and are proud to be affiliated with a range of world leading examination boards including: RAD (The Royal Academy of Dance), ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing), ABD (Associated Board of Dance) and Acrobatic Arts.

Performances and examinations are optional and we also offer a wide range of classes for those looking to dance for fun, fitness or to simply learn a new skill. We have classes to suit all ages and abilities and we always welcome new members to our ever growing family.

After training at Starlight our students have gone onto further training at various dance colleges including: Millennium Dance, The Royal Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet, The Urdang Academy, The Italia Conti Academy, Midlands Academy of Dance & Drama, London College of Music, The London School of Musical Theatre, The Brit School, Bird College, Tring Academy, Elmhurst School of Ballet, Laine Theatre Arts & various dance / performance based courses at national diploma and degree level.

Starlight students have also gone on to work in many a professional capacity including West End shows such as Matilda, The King & I, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, A Chorus Line, Titanique and The Snowman. Our students have also landed leading roles in professional pantomimes, touring shows, cruise ships and other professional contracts including working with popstars such as Jessie-J and B*Witched.

Starlight Dance & Musical Theatre School also offers representation through our in-house talent agency, where our clients are managed and submitted for professional work. Our clients have worked for various television / theatre projects such as West End shows, London 2012 Olympics, Channel 4, Tesco, Epoch, Raw Productions and Kelloggs.
