Join Starlight Dance & Musical Theatre School as they present this stunning ballet adaptation of the classic ‘THE NEVERENDING STORY’ Bastian is a young boy who lives a dreary life after his mother passed away, being tormented by school bullies. On one such occasion he escapes into a book shop where the old proprietor reveals an ancient story-book to him, which he is warned can be dangerous. Shortly after, he borrows the book and begins to read it in the school attic where he is drawn into the mythical land of Fantasia, where a young warrior Atreyu’s task is to stop a dark storm called the ‘Nothing’ from engulfing this fantasy world and saving the Princess. Bastian follows the adventures of Atreyu who is everything he believe he is not - brave, strong, successful. Bastian soon begins to realise that he is a part of the story and that the survival of the world about which he has been reading is in part up to him. Where is Fantasia? Is Bastian really part of it? Can Atreyu save Fantasia, or is the princess really summoning Bastian himself?.
